Okay to add onto that:

hybrid helm on its own gives no damage boost but when you wear it to make 5 pieces you get an additional boost.

so providing the piece of hybrid you're wearing is not the helm you get the following boosts:

1 piece- 5.7% boost

2 pieces- 8.6% boost

3 pieces- 12% boost

4 pieces- 14.8% boost

5 pieces- 17.7% boost
