Maybe, I saw someone doing it 2 days ago when I couldn't find an empty world for mort tower. But it depends on the mask, not surprising if they overlooked abby mask/gargoyle mask and only fixed dark beast one
I think it was fixed for the older masks previously, but they forgot to add the same restrictions to the new masks when they were released.
