And I still don't see why ancient games from the stone age of gaming are being re-released with slightly better resolution, mildly improved graphics and yet have such a high price tag which seems unreasonable in my view.

Also I am an idiot, I saw they're re-releasing Age of Mythology on steam, so I panicbought it, only to find out it doesn't actually come out until the 8th of may.
Also because they just do not work(And if they do, it's not well) on newer versions of windows, like 7 or 8, and the fact they're allowing me to go back and replay it is amazing.
But 90% of the work has already been done and they've already profited enormously from those games over time, you'd think they could release those games again at extremely low prices and still make a profit.

Ah I remember AoE3, had so much fun with that, I was considering rebuying it on steam but it's still £29.99 for the complete version.. and I'm not so lazy that I'd pay that much for such an old game rather than try to dig up my old aoe3 disc somewhere or other in my house.
But it seems mainly to be a Microsoft thing to overprice games and keep them expensive no matter how many decades pass, I just looked at Stronghold HD and it's £3.49 and Age of mythology has a base price of £22.99, that's just too much
Ever play Empire Earth or Stronghold btw o:?
