1 hour of span is, lets say 85k xp.
1 hour of nats is about 28k xp + 1.5M gp.

So 2 extra hours of nats to get the same amount of xp, and you'll also get 4.5M gp total.
Thing is, people can consistently get more than (4.5M/2) 2.25M gp/hr. So, since everyone is all about efficiency now, its less efficient to put effort in and actually rc.

That's why I dislike span.
