The fact that RS3 has any new players at all is a good sign though, I hope I see more of them around.

Can vouch for the difficulty. When I was working on the cw req I made a new account because cw was so boring. The exp rates were so bad at lower levels. The tasks I would get assigned were really bad like running around the map to attack killerwatts and needing to try hard to keep my adrenaline up while chasing vampyres. The cost/xp was also really high.

What method did you use to get to Canifis?

There should be a skeleton in the temple underground. You should be able to recoil it without gaining any exp if you dont attack it.
