Yeah, mine is Toshiba and hasn't shut down yet due to heat, but sometimes it's so hot it scares me :( Perhaps it's made to withstand such temperatures, but you know... I'd like to be cautious. Also... my laptop has like a metal "case" per se, so maybe the heat is more noticeable compared to plastic. It still performs awesome, so I assume it's fine :P

Alright :P I love this one.. It can be a bit warm after like 15 hours, whereas my previous one would be just about on fire after 5 hours.
