Once you go through the dialogue Star all you have to do for the event is gather points, which can be done through various methods such as:

1. Stroking/feeding/converting the reindeer

2: Pelting snowballs at people

3. Feeding the wizards the real/dummy version of the food they asked for

4. Cashing in the baubles on the Christmas tree

The Enhanced Event occurs every 20 minutes, and switches between methods 1-3 cyclically granting double naughty/nice points for the aforementioned period of time.

It does not matter whether you gain naughty or nice points, but do you need at least 750 naughty or 750 nice points to complete the event, and a combined naught/nice total of at least 2k points to claim all of the rewards. Once you reach the corresponding point totals, you talk to San'tar Claus or w/e to get Santa out of the cage, and you click on the presents under the tree next to him in order to claim your rewards. I think 20 bauble per day is the cap, but I have yet to see this actually confirmed anywhere :/

E: not per day, but 20 at a time, and since you are cashing them in Envi, you must just be getting unlucky or something

I did the banquet for my points. Get even amounts of each of the foods and go around the tables then restock each run. You'll get 5 points per correct serving after getting a good number of servings in a timely fashion.
