Buy vamp scrimshaw and SS, the use of both prevents the need to eat as long as you deal sufficient DPS throughout the task, you'll be fine.

The scrimshaws aren't expensive and only are used for those tasks, so it isn't that costly to do it. Deactivate when task done. .
