Hate it... it's dumb. I CAN'T OPEN THE BOX DURING COMBAT. Once I move out of reach and manage to open the box, the IRON dragon will attack me and it's going to be a mess to lose him.

Actually from what I've seen, a lot of people want to get rid of the randoms, including the jmods working on oldschool :P

I just find it annoying, I feel forced to wear a ring of life everywhere because of the fear of dcing and getting a visit from mr hyde/plethora of other regressive randoms.

At your combat, surely the risk of actually dying is low? Takes 60secs to be logged if you dc and were in combat, I'd be surprised if any random could kill you in that time, unless you were low hp to begin with.

Support for random removal though, or at least no randoms in combat.

Hyde can hit 15s or w/e so it's possible for him to kill me.

Idk about the rock golem/river troll/tree spirit, but I wouldn't be wearing armour for any of those so they'd hit pretty accurate.

99% sure evil chicken couldn't kill me unless I was already hurt via combat though.
