Honestly i'd be completely for zmi. With run energy being so bad in oldschool you'd need to spend money to gain the xp which kinda balances out the slightly higher xp rate.
Also you'd make way better money doing an individual rune like nature than running zmi.
Would also like clan wars, some of my favourite rs memories were in that place.
Some of myskiller friends will hate me for saying this but I also support ZMI (:

Morgan, the fact that we don't actually have Turmoil/SS/Overloads/Familiars is what actually makes GWD fun and challenging
Anyone with those things could camp Arma for days on end with a Divine and Penance aura and you could literally Bandos for as long as you want until you get bored but the fact that you're so limited on supplies and you have to scrape the very bottom of the cookie jar for every crumb and morsel you can find to stay alive is the actual fun/challenge about GWD; the rewards are just a nice bonus on top.
Everything you mentioned is a A MUST if they ever bring back Nex on 07 (which I would love but am not holding my breath for). Honestly, find an go with a group of friends to GWD because I see level 105s in Veracs tanking kills with their friends who are using whips and Rune kites at level 90ish.
If Nex was to ever be released in OSRS I'd like there not to be that OP stuff, it would be an even greater challenge. Not that people used curses to kill Nex anyway. I'd also like the rewards to have insane repair costs (like 1M gp/h).
Without Chaotics, overloads, curses/rigour wouldn't you miss all the time? + No summoning and sigil shields would basically mean you'd have to mass? ;x
It seems the people voting no to GWD pets either don't want useless items, don't want the spam, or are trolls. Sadly there are a lot of people who think this way
