Will any of this these happen? No because these apparently ruined the game completely, there's no going back now!

What's more annoying is those people say "If you want those, go play rs3!!!!!" which is 100% moronic, they fail to realise that the reason some people play this is because it doesn't have EoC, it's the only reason I, for example, am willing to recreate an account from scratch in order to experience it all over again.

A lot of people seem to actually think it's 2007scape because they made it that way by releasing the game back in it's 2007 state, however, it's not. It's old school and will remain always old school because it doesn't have eoc, thus is completely different to the main game.

It's mainly the pkers who dislike new bosses and other gear because it ruins the experience for them but those who don't pk are the ones that suffer. I mean look at PvM, if GWD didn't exist, it would be worse and I probably wouldn't play. GWD is decent PvM and OSRS still needs more as GWD won't stay awesome forever. .

Yes and then they were discussing his ban in the lounge and Infinity threatened to close the lounge as he didn't have the time to babysit it!
Let's not talk about that ban and Infinity. That mod has been known to not be very lenient when it comes to decisions regarding the forums. Wouldn't want this closed or something lol.

I thought clan wars was going to be polled, and didn't Mod Ash express interest in bringing Corp to 07?

That was a few months ago though, I'm not sure what the status is in regards to those two updates currently.

I didn't say using Zybez was fun, merely that it acts as a substitute for the Ge considering we don't actually have one. I would support the Ge coming to oldschool, it removes a lot of unnecessarily hassle and reduces the amount of time people have to spend buying/selling items.

Just out of curiosity, is Zybez still starred out in-game? I remember in one of the community posts there was an event hosted by some Zybez guys and the name was starred out at that time, seemed silly.

It is still starred out in both oldschool and rs3.

Also... I'm 90% sure people DID NOT want a 2007 version of the game. We got one because of all the 2007scape hype and stuff after that server was shut down by Jagex. But what people wanted was a Pre-20th Nov 2012 version. But then again, that would've sent Jagex to bankruptcy, or maybe not actually... we would've all transferred to that server and played there and pretended the EoC never happened.

I understand that some people wanted to escape Solomon and SoF as well, but those two were at least "bearable". A needed evil.

People are using the "People want 2006 but got 2007!" excuse but that was mainly for nostalgia, I mean, look at how many requests there are for a pre-eoc server (years 2011-12 probably) because the OSRS (aka 07 for now) isn't good enough for most of them.

I don't think GE would pass though, it seems a lot of people think it ruins the game (like everything apparently) so ye. .
