Alright, how can I get in the world of Warbands? I really want to take advantage of that OP xp for minimal effort. Never taken part.
Same here, looks like I'm not the only one who hasn't tried them out in HLF
Ok so I will tell you guys what I do. Every 30 minutes before warbands are about to start, fcs get posted on http://warbandtracker.com/ and you have to try your best to get into one of those fcs in order to do warbands somewhat safely. Each fc has their own rules and reqs for getting in so be wary of those before trying to join. Also, in my experience asking for an add pisses people off, so just say "hello", or "thank you for hosting" when you first join so they know you were there early or w/e.
Once you get into a fc, then the hard part is pretty much done. All that is left is doing the warbands in most cases. So, a warband can spawn in any one of the 3 locations:
DWF
ELM
RDI
DWF is east of chaos altar, and the quickest way to get there is to use the wicked hood tele to chaos altar, and run east. An alternative is to just run since it is in low level wildy.
ELM is east of lava maze, and the quickest way to get there is by making a waka canoe in edge and riding it all the way north to the high lvl wildy. Run north and the camp is right there.
RDI is south of Red Dragon Isle, and the quickest way to get there is to use a game necklace tele to corp cave, and run east to the camp.
Lately I have been using the fc 'Reg Hosting' as they host every single wave, and are super friendly. The only downside to them is that they start adding at random times, so you might not always get in. If you choose to use this fc, I would idle in the chat at least an hour prior to wbs, and be on w67. Also, they will gladly answer any questions you have regarding wbs that I could not answer for you so please do not be afraid to ask. Just mention you are new to wbs, and everything will be fine
. Also, make sure you follow the rules, as they pk rule breakers!

You Pick It
Getting into a fc is really the only hard part, so I apologize for not explaining much about the actual Warband itself, but if you look at some guides on yt you can get a much better explanation - with visuals - than I could give. Best of luck!
