Would it not be similar to how signatures work (i'm assuming it's automatically entered at the bottom of the post before you post?) so you'd just have the [ pink ][/ pink ] appear automatically each time.

I finally went to bed at like 2:30, fell asleep around 3:30 and woke up around 10.

Not too bad!

I only woke up because I heard a banging on the door, I feel sorry for the delivery man and his young girl who saw me after just waking up.

For colours, Indy might be able to do something with Linkify so it auto puts the code in and places the marker thingy to type inbetween..
