Is it me or is he actually saying his wife is comped and enjoys fighting bosses, while he's a non maxed (not even combat) player who enjoys skilling and can't afford a 2m ring? If that's the case then perhaps it's better they aren't playing together ingame because he'd constantly try to impress her, while she would unintentionally put him down.

I dunno, maybe I'm thinking about this too seriously. Hi

Don't you have to own more than 2m in gear just to kill the dagannoth kings?
I think it was about the effort to create the ring himself rather than just buying it.
