I haven't upgraded my phone to anything smarter than a building brick. I have no need for something better. My classes are a 40 second sprint from my apartment and my lab about a minute. My computer is with me every time I need something.

Also, if I bought something I'd probably bring it in class to justify buying it and play with it like everyone else does and miss out on important things. I'd rather save my money and keep my grades at what they are.

What if, we stole a crap load of resources from other planets, and then a new life force began to grow on that/those planets and couldn't survive because of what we'd taken? >.>

Doubt it, a lot of planets in our solar system are either too far away or too close to the sun, making life impossible.

Earth is "just right" and took quite a lot of events in order to make life even possible here

Umm... I don't think it's about earth being "just right". It's about us having slowly evolved to survive these conditions.

Who knows... perhaps for aliens living in Gliese 581 g their planet is "just right" and earth a inhospitable hazard. It's all about evolution.

Yes, personally I belive that life doesnt need exactly those conditions as we have here. It just needs something to have a start, evolution will do the rest.
Imo people who say we are alone are very narrow minded. The Universe is just so massive...

Also watched this a while back, supports me :D . Not sure how correct it is but its really interesting
