summer pies seem to cost 1.4b for 200m xp for me (excluding decorated urns which might lower cost I dunno).

Is there something better for cooking? I might just cook rocktails at GE and pies at pop.

Broad arrowheads are expensive lately.

Best cheaper alternative?

Rocktails aren't that much slower than pies in 2013 with bonfire bonus, cooking outfit, avatar bonus, army axe etc etc etc.

Still good without all the bonus xp too and shouldn't be close to as costly as pies or wines. :P And use urns, it makes it both cheaper and faster!

@wilson, I don't generally play sound openings, as it gets boring quite fast.

I play stuff like drunken king, or I'll go for the most obscure line of king's gambit: the double muzio, although not many people go for that line as black.

I play super obscure openings if i am sticking to an opening, so dw you should be fine.
