Apparently you can still wear Comp/Max cape etc.

So I'm thinking, why not allow us to still use our high end gear/tools and just focus on the journey of getting them to 99 again, if the concept is about total levels/ranks etc, and it also takes double the time to get the levels up.

That would be ok in my book, as an alternative to just going for the 200m total exp as was planned. My only big time gripe I see with it is it kinda pisses on those of you here that have worked their asses off for 200m beforehand, I think it's a bit shitty doing that to ya'll.

My post/suggestion in that feedback thread, already swamped by posts:

If the concept is that of ranks/exp/levels over time, so as to breathe new life in the skills we've already trained to 99 and make it more interesting to for 200m instead of just a solid grind, and that we are apparently still allowed to wear our achievement capes and Max/Comp capes after prestiging I propose allowing us to still be able to use our higher end gear/tools.

By allowing us to continue using our high end armour/weapons and tools in the toolbelt (binds in Dungeoneering) we'd be able to dive straight into the lower end content from scratch, with a bit more of a fearsome 'grunt' than the newbie 'ooh' when we first started. Considering it takes 2x as long for us to get to 99 from the first time around, it shouldn't affect speeds that much, plus you'd still be limited by the level based content of the skill, i.e less damage and only being able to collect from normal trees til you can get the next ones up etc, but you'd be able to use your Dragon Hatchets/Picks and Torva armour etc as you would normally.

To help spare clearing/resorting banks out and buying out the lower level gear etc I thought, and also it kinda makes a little sense considering you would still be able to wear your achievement capes etc.

Not too crazy on the idea still, but this wouldn't be so bad for me if there was something like that.

Not sure how going for 120 Dung would work with the x2 exp requirement though, or the lsos of Primal Binds etc.

Would you guys be ok with something like that? Still a kick in the face for peeps that have worked their asses off for big exp though, but at least less of a hassle if you did go down that route I thought.

I can't support anything with it, I say no to the whole thing. It's a horrible idea and doesn't bring any new content or anything special, only makes it easier for some people to get onto the hiscores.

People only trained past 99 because there was an actual end-goal to it, this new system has no end and would get boring very, very fast.

They just need to come out with 120/104m exp caps. Virtual total levels and such... Something that is finite, not as infinite as prestige. All they need to do is fill in the gaps, increase level cap and fill in more gaps.
