It's kinda dumb, I suppose.. I personally label the entire tab as junk, yet I can't seem to get rid of it (E: Actually, some things in there were gifted to me and I'd feel rude to get rid of those, but everything else...)

The clue stuff will eventually go down, need like 1 or 2 things for most sets

Chaos altar being a gilded altar sounds useless until you read that one of the rewards from the task set is an npc there to un-note items and the nearby cape seller is being turned into a bank.
