I only have 1gb, gonna run out soon
but idk how easy it is to switch packages for phone contracts, I've been meaning to for a while, as 1gb has never really cut it.

When is RF again?
I bought one of these from eBay for £20: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182199252469
And then every few months I buy one of these from Amazon for £14: https://www.amazon.co.uk/EE-PAYG-Triple-Card-Preloaded/dp/B013EBUPDI
The sim gives 6gb of data which can be accessed by any device capable of WiFi, so it's good if your internet at home happens to go off or similar. It lasts for 90 days before the sim has to be topped up, in which case I just buy another one from Amazon.
Pros:
Cheaper than a 6gb bundle on your phone plan, probably
Can be used on anything with ease, no tethering

£20 upfront cost
Have to remember to put it in your bag
So are they just essentially SIM cards with only internet? As in, you can't make calls etc from them? There isn't much product description on either of those ;p
My phone is locked to EE, so I'm glad you linked those regardless.
