Item xp at Abyss is similar to Muspahs, so if you consider that "worth it", then sure, go for it.

I'm not sure how I level all my stuff tbh, every time you catch one you get a candy, you need 25 candy to evolve it

I can't really be bothered catching 25 of each pokemon
