If you plan on perking up your gear I definitely advise it. You can rack up a few hundred of each uncommon perk within 10hrs or so of the abyss, makes gizmos etc a lot more viable. Unslain Bosses - Clan

I mean, I will probably perk my items eventually but I don't think I'll be doing abyss. I still need another 80m range and 120m def xp which is quite a lot but abyss has never been my way to do combat, slayer boss pets etc have been more interesting and profitable, with xp being a side benefit.

Unless you mean doing abyss to level up my stuff for said perks. Hi
