I'm English but I identify as an alien species, so can I play for the extra terrestrial football team, please?
An E.T team sounds dangerous
"guysss. We don't have a ball to play with..what should we do?"
"I'm not sure..let's head into outer space and look for one!
"Oh look! There's something round here! let's give it a test drive!
And before you know it, they're kicking Planets around just so they can play a game of spaceball (their version of football). Won't be long before they find Planet Earth and start kicking us around

Like rocket league, except they're on spaceships throwing around planets.
More violent too since the planets they're kicking around could harbour life! I don't think any of them would appreciate being forcibly kicked around the solar system
What if they accidentally put so much power in a shot that they send the planet hurtling towards our sun or another star?!

Or maybe they could create a solar system in which there's two suns (one on both sides). A sun keeper would be right in front of the star, trying to stop the planet being kicked into the sun. Failure to stop the planet results in planet death. A truly violent sport for the spaceballers.

Also if you gain citizenship in another country you can play for their national team provided you haven't been capped for another countries national team.
Examples of this would be Eduardo who was born in Brazil with Brazilian parents but moved to Croatia when he was 16 or 17 to play for some team there. He gained citizenship in Croatia so was eligible to play for Croatia as Brazil had never called him up.
