Think if skrtel gets suspended from the bench he'll have to go to the stands like when managers gets a red?

At least if something happens in the tunnel before the game starts and the referee decides to suspend players based on that the teams are allowed to switch someone else into the starting lineup, but they now have one less player to choose from when making substitutes in the game (they still have 3 total though) and the suspended player(s) cannot be subbed on.

I think I remember that happening in a game I watched before.

My personal favourite ever red cards are Scholes's attempted punch on Xabi Alonso, Hazard kicking a ball boy and Gerrard's stamp on Herrera.

According to this Sevilla played a backwards pass, but it got intercepted by Can whose pass was deflected from Coutinho forwards to Coke? Since the pass was played forward by a liverpool player it's not offside?

Edit* I believe the part where Can passed it onto Coutinho is what makes this not offside. The referee overturned the linesman's decision based on that probably.

I'm not sure, it seems to be the only feasible explanation, but I think the rule is weird.

Like if a forward pass is made to someone who is offside, but it takes a small nick off a defender without changing the direction of the ball, I think it's still offside.

But as that was such a large deflection, and the deflection was as a result of a Liverpool player's original kick (it was kicked into Coutinho by another Liverpool player to deflect into the path of Coke), then it's not offside?

In this case I guess it's tantamount to a bad backpass by a Liverpool player to someone who would otherwise be offside, and those goals are permissible.

Not that good odds I imagine; they've won the cup the 2 prior years after all. :P

And yeah I believe you're right, Bakoo!
Liverpool will probably still be gutted though after those handballs in the first half, but oh well.
