Yeah I don't bother with Twitch unless I want to learn something. I'm a visual learner, so Twitch PvM streams help immensely if I want to "get gud" at a boss.
Otherwise, I rarely bother because of the lag I have to endure. Some streams are fine, but those on source quality seem to choke my CPU.

People would rather fight giant, spine-tingling bosses whilst looking pretty in a paper hat, shirtless with a virtual six-pack, and tropical shorts, rather than actual, fierce-looking gear.

Don't forget the obnoxious Happy and Sad walks!
Yeah, I can understand wanting to get some niche tips from people streaming bosses who are clearly very good at them.
Most guides you'll find are generally made by people aiming at beginners, so picking up extra tips and stuff like that may be specific to streams in that regard.
