Tbh weirdly I think dazing shot is a lot better than needle strike.
In my opinion, the further away you are doing dazing shot, the more it hits for reason, idk, that's what I think anyway, it's weird
I just like the longer ranges for QBD and high enrage Rax if I ever bother doing it
