Opening this up:

We were told in stream that one can disassemble leveled items while RETAINING THE ITEM ITSELF for 1/4-1/2 the invention XP.
However there was mention of "Devices to siphon stored Invention experience from leveled up equipment without destroying the item, instead causing its levels to be reset. This will give the player a lower amount of Invention experience than disassembly, equivalent to that which would have been gained from a piece of equipment 2 levels lower."

Are there
THREE
options - dissembly of all for full XP, disassembly of gizmo and perk for 1/2 XP, and resetting of gizmo while keeping perks for n-2 XP?

Also also, items can be leveled UP TO 20 while XP caps at 10. What.
Do we thus level to 12 then reset keeping perk?
