Mod Stu gave the impression that the Ring, Visage and Boot pieces were all roughly the same rate from Elites before the change, which would indicate 1/512

I'm guessing that was just shifted over the Rune Dragons with no change added.

I managed to get a ring on maybe my 30th Elite kill, pretty early on. Unslain Bosses - Clan
