Wyverns are okay, but I generally find them to drain food. Camels are pretty much cancel. Ripper demons are great experience, but not as much as mammoths. Darklight, defender, vamp scrim, and you're pretty much set. Use maybe 3 rocktails per task if I don't do anything stupid. 7:^]

That said, I still need to grind the fuck out of wyvern and camel tasks, missing their key parts. How many people have even started a second key????

Also, have fun, Rowley. You only need 2 monsters for slayer. Anything else isn't worth doing.

I have 2x part 1 because of the raptor slayer stuff, I "had" to do wyverns again after already getting the key part since you couldn't change the task after a day or anything.. And no part 2/3/4 :) :)

Keys are overrated

They really are. I got 3.7m in loot + 750 points + 30 tickets + 68k slayer experience.

I think I gained about 30m experience over the course of completing the key? Though I wasn't exclusively doing key droppers.

The first key part I got was from camels while still trying them out. Then from mammoths trying them out. Then I decided to try for the wyvern part and got fairly lucky. Rippers took forever though, at least 1.2k kills on task for their first piece.

For you to be doing the task *that* fast, you'd need to be dealing over 7m+ damage/hour, which in all honesty I call bullshit on that

How many Mammoths do you get assigned? My average task is around 30 of them, I hardly ever get assigned 40+, and yes, that takes around 2.5 overload doses - They have hardly any defence compared to Airuts so you can deal insane DPS.

Airut in raw exp/hour (combat and slayer) is ~1.2m.

I don't gain combat xp, I was comparing Slayer vs Slayer, since, if you are Slaying, you are probably going for Slayer xp. Is that not a fair assumption? If not, disregard my points :)

Mammoths are good xp and good gp - some tasks (let's take Kree for example since that is one of your "good gp/hr tasks" compromise xp for gp, same with Ascension creatures, etc. I don't exactly do a wide variety of tasks so I can't really comment on them, but I find Mammoths to be great xp/hr (again, for Slayer, as I don't care about combat xp and I have no way to measure it), and good gp on the side of it.

... And then you went on to mention that they require more effort, so I am going to assume that is your main point for not doing them; they require more effort for less monetary gain than other monsters. In which case, I can't object to you wanting to afk Slayer.

All 4 key pieces should have been dropped from all 4 monsters like Crystal triskelion parts. That would have made the key more worthwhile.
