Lots of monsters still deserve massive buffs and better mechanics. Nex keeps getting buffed because shes the ONLY source of t80 stuff, and essentially shes still forced to stay relevant because theres still a distinct lack of diversity in higher leveled PvM.

If they did a better job diversifying actual content where all these items are obtained, they wouldn't need to go back and mess with the old content. Gwd on release in 2007 is a very nice example of this. It was a large update that introduced FOUR places to go to get new items. Now a days we get 1 thing that they throw tons of things into and as a result, the actual diversity we have to choose from in what we want to do is too limited.

The constant buffs annoy me. This started off nicely, and don't get me wrong, it was necessary when you could 1 hit abyssal demons or whatever. But after a point it ended up being a joke. Things get buffed constantly and they are more hard than what they used to be, and take disproportionately more effort for only a fraction of the reward.

For example dominion tower bosses were buffed recently and you know what, things that took 2 claw specs previously now take 6 basics and sometimes even a threshold to die. And that's using level 90 weapons not 60. In the meantime, you need 5 times as many boss kills to get a pair of gloves that used to be a lot better than it is right now. I just don't even..

I do wish their buffs followed a more logical pattern. I suppose part of the problem was the spike damage potential of claws pre-eoc, while we have nothing that even closely resembles the potential damage output of a full special bar (assuming we start every fight with 0 adren, whereas pre-eoc, did it not refill our spec bar after every fight?)

Either way, the fact that the high end bossing scene follows almost no pattern, and one thing just simply HAS to be harder than something before it has led to weird gaps in prices of weapons that should be closer to equal.

Its kinda like how they do graphical reworks. Its great they want Al Kharid to look better! But when everything else around it still looks 7 years old, it just looks weird. By the time they get everything graphically updated, whatever they did first will now look 7 years old. I think they'd be so much better off doing things on a much more grand scale, but I think its not realistic at this point.
