I actually found that thing and did so.
However, it doesn't appear to do much. I tried reloading the Adventurer's Log and still got the same crash once. It still loads sometimes as it used to, but the 3D Model Viewer won't still work.

I can see the rat segment in the new quest and the Coeden story in the Seren quest being made into a small minigame. You would shoot characters and you get points:

Dragonkin 100 points
Lucien 250 points
Kara Meir 400 points
Pauline Polaris 500 points
Yelps 700 points
Member of the Kalos Elite Four and Team Flare.
