And you get 2 bodies by the time you get 1 codex. 40m guaranteed vs ~28m. Maybe lack of supply will make them rise a bit, but it has to reach 40m for it to be worth it.

Purchasable codex is kind of a bad idea, it just devalues the ones that end up getting dropped from the bosses themselves. Teci having value from purchased armor just means that dropped codex's should retain their value longer. Would be pretty disappointing to get a dropped codex for it to only be worth 5m because the only thing worth spending teci on as well is codex's.
