Yeah! I used to enjoy it before spin to win.
My friends and I would do quite silly things (in retrospect) just to get as much xp a day as possible.
E.g. lowest graphics settings for smoother game loading, playing in German or Portuguese worlds, constantly testing xp/h rates to see if we could do any better than the last time.... I still have " 716,756 agil xp in 10 consecutive hours " (Barbarian course) in my notes...
I miss those times.
Also, I still get excited about the Jagex Clan Cup every year even though the last time I participated was in 2011 lol. barbarian advanced course back in the day was so much fun. really miss those times
