The pondskater one saves time when the skater goes to opposite side from where you are, since you can't one shot the SW one in some layouts (its too far away) by like 2 seconds... but you *can* one shot it if you surge across the pond. But it's limited to a few layouts, so can't always be relied on.

The last one saves like 2 squares

The agility one is just hilarious, although useless. It's better to just surge straight. 181m Slayer XP and 37,963 Edimmu slain for my Dungeoneering pet. Slayer is still the worst skill in the game.
