Yeah it's really sad. And when you think about it, what happened makes perfect sense and is just the outcome of bad luck.

Someone who hasn't really used rsof outside of hlf, and who posts with a rather humorous and unusual style, gets a really common sense question mistaken for trolling, and receives an fmod mute. Upon jmod investigation, the mute is found correct, and the action is so severe that it deserves an account offence, with subsequent bans and ingame mutes. There is no doubt whoever jmod read into things disagreed that it was trolling, as can be seen by the short evidence message. It's really a you know what you did kind of thing.

It's very unfair but it happens, and it's always a case by case thing. Mat banned me in the past for posting fucking and bullshit in hlf. The action was found extreme enough to deserve an account offence, with a 2 month ban and ingame mute. Some people just get unlucky, that's how it is. Hi
