Also I didn't tell the best part. He spent atleast a few minutes looking over a map of Green Hill Zone like he was planning some sort of attack lol. Like Sonic required a ton of game plan and strategy.

If you want to see more hilariously bad Let's Plays watch this channel called Retsupurae. These two guys riff on Let's Players(don't worry it's lighthearted teasing and is not insulting them).

I remember this Sonic screen which had the characters taunting you and it constantly said No way! No way! Anyone remember where it's from?
