Meh Max is okay. Comp was too far I think, it makes people feel obligated to do shit they hate because of the benefits and cosmetic effect it provides. You aren't being held hostage to re-comp, but THAT FEELING (of having to get it back ASAP) is there and many people can't help it.

Whether or not it happens to OSRS depends on whether the community agrees with giving Max cape benefits that surpass everything else. If this happens, then yeah a lot of people will feel like it has to be done in order to possess the absolute best gear. .
