Practice mode exists by the way. You don't lose anything for dying... except the fee for an instance. That's how I learned Araxxor with minimal cost.

I pay for supplies no matter what anyways though so I don't care. I am killing this thing the hard way even if I lose my bank over it!

That's right. It's only purpose is to let new people learn to boss without any consequences of dying. Sure, you don't get drops but drops aren't really important if you don't even know how to kill the boss.
