Aren't you supposed to be a God? You can't let a petty minigame stand in your way of glory.

In the follow-up quest to dishonour among thieves Zamorak can recover the stone of Jas and use it to blow up castle wars with Lanthus being among the casualties effectively meaning the Castle wars requirement has to be removed as it can no longer be completed.

Go make this a runelabs idea

Don't worry. Jagex have measures in place to protect against this. If Lanthus loses his life, then Jagex will send down another NPC to Gielinor, who like Lanthus, will devote the rest of their life to standing in Castle Wars checking the progress of aspiring trimmers, and die-hard CWers, until he too, meets his demise.

Zamorak would need to do a hell of a lot to ensure the removal of this diseased mini-game. :s

This reminds me of that mindspike glitch when you could kill NPC's. Killing Lanthus would stall a CW game so it couldn't end, or something... Aby was fond of doing that :P .

Some of us tried to kill Pauline, but she was just too strong :( (she actually had HP, and it regenerated every so often, so it took a lot of fast paced mind spiking from a lot of people to even make progress lol). Most non-attackable NPC's just had one HP, so it was a single hit.
