Likely because they don't want to physically limit kills.. So going with enrage counters to make the fight vastly more difficult allows for permanent farming, but only if you're skilled enough. I guess it works on both levels.
Also.. I think Im going to bed instead of doing Airuts so....... have fun biting me@
