So, first I decided to buy a Wyrm scalp because I'm like "Hey, I can afford it. I wanted to upgrade my Ranged equipment anyway!" So...I buy it. Then I'm like "Dark arrows should be sufficient ammo for this!", before finding out that the appropriate ammo is actually Wild arrows.
After gloriously spending 200K or so on Dark arrows, and another 400K on Wild arrows, I decide to go try out my new beast of a weapon. Fittingly, I make Nihils my test subject, as they were my Slayer task.
I very quickly realize that my kills were actually slower than usual. (Which was evident because I was getting "Hiss..."ed a lot more.) I then look at my Strykebow and I found out why...it's a shield-bow.
So I sell everything back, and overall that little stint lost me 4M.
...and this is why I will now always research all big purchases I make.
Lmao Mikki, it kinda sucks that it's a shield bow because it means there's still that huge gap between an rcb and a noxious longbow in terms of slaying (ew darts for slayer)
