Hlf may be one entity, but we have more than one community here. We have those who care, those who troll, those who offer feedback, suggestions and advice, and everything inbetween. Sorry to get on a soap box, but you make it sound like we all are uniform. There is good, there is bad, and a fair bit of grey area.

There are people here I care for more than others, despite actually knowing very few of you in game. But to belittle your own ideas, conversations, and actions and give up makes me sad. The buzz kill thread S have made a world of difference. If you didn't make the first one, I wouldn't have ever posted on hlf. The aggressive forums mods can play their game, and we'll keep playing it too, because eventually one of us is going to win. It probably wont end soon, and it will be a tough setting for new J Mods to enter in to, but it's ground we need to hold.

If you leave, it's only going to get worse here. I hope you are aware of how much influence you have here, even if some people don't say it as obviously as I am.

I've always heard Zezima met his wife by edating on RS, no idea if that's been a rumor or not but I've been hearing it for years

Probably a rumour considering he is not married. He mentioned a girlfriend somewhere the other day. I saw a screenshot.

You're right that there are different divisions in the community here, but even with divisions we're one community, and every community has good and bad. I saw an amazing video that explained a similar thing very well a few weeks ago, but haven't been able to find it again since.

But I think problems arise when some in the community feel they're above others. We've seen it a couple times over the years from the way some people post, and sometimes they blatantly admit it. But recently it's been quite a bit worse with people being above others.

Unfortunately the only fight the community can take part in is attempting to get Jagex to sort out the problems. We can't take an offensive stance because we'll just be removed from the forums, as some have been. There's only so long a defensive stance can last before wearing out

Two mutual friends met eachother on here through a clan we formed several years ago now lives together and has a 2 (or 3, don't recall exactly what month he was born) year old son together. :)

I don't see why you feel depressed that it started out as edating if it evolved into a serious relationship. Good on them, I'd say.

Don't get me wrong, Sikr. Of course I'm happy for them. I simply haven't found my other half yet, so you could say I'm "depressed" about myself. It's not really about them as I don't consider myself to be selfish.
I'm such a puzzle sometimes.
