What were you killing lava strykewyrms with btw? I managed 109/111 on task before being attacked, but range felt so slow. :l

Death lotus darts and death lotus.

You could bring a nox bow/staff and a fury shark and eat it if you get attacked.

I was using nox with slay helm, comp cape and karil

Could switch for death lotus I guess and alerter perhaps.

3-4 items are kept on death with/out protect item as long as you don't accidentally skull, so you can bring good armour as a slayer.

Damage is halved for the 1st 10 seconds of combat with the worms.. so that might be why they feel slow.
