I'd say a blood amulet of fury is a really good purchase for all around PvM.

It works on DKs, GWD bosses, and has decent stats for Nex, and Vorago.

At times it sounds like it wants to kill you

A fury is +32 all stats, and the DG necks are +44, I wouldn't call that "crap".

I said for all around PvM, since it sounded like you didn't want to buy 4 Blood Shards, but you are free to do so if you wish.

At times it sounds like it wants to kill you

I love my Farsight blood necklace; it gives me an additional chat box message at legiones (even when empty), but else does nothing!
