Put 100 Ghostly essence into the regular Ectoplasmator (~400k from GE for the essence) and then you'll have an attuned version. It has charges - 1 essence is 10 charges.
The original 100 you put in it will give you 1k charges, you can just recharge it by putting more essence into it - it works like a bonecrusher but for ashes. Also works with DHN too.
