Can you still use that to force drop stuff? I remember doing that years ago for extra adze and agile but I haven't thought of it since and assumed it was fixed.

Doesn't work for agile and adze anymore, they did fix that. Though you can get extra agile stuff now by just asking, if I remember right? It does work for the asylum ring and the dragon rider amulet, though.
