I don't know what's happening with my monitor... static and flickering occurs after I leave it idle for a few minutes, specifically after waking from "sleep mode". What this flickering does is sometimes my screen goes black for 2-3 seconds and flashes until it returns to normal and fixes itself, the latter can take like 3 minutes and stuff.

This monitor is quite old, so could be that.
Something's wrong with my computer. Could be that too.

I don't even have a spare monitor to try this :(
