I know. Everyone automatically assumed Saradomin would win from the start, but I'm just saying.
RuneScape lore is bland and like most people I couldn't care less.
Good vs Evil. So original.
They tried to give Zamorak's ideals more depth this year but failed miserably with the portrayal of Black Knights and stuff.
I think the quest was to show people more that Saradomin isn't as good as people think, without having to interpret existing lore that's harder to access
If con challenge gives 50k xp for completion and ~50.4k for making the mahogany armour cases oops I mean m'gany arm'r cases (since it
's flatpacks), that would be 3m in a month? :o
Seems decent!
I'd be more worried about the fun box trap skill@

Cry
Though if I play big box trap game once a day average until the end of the year that's about 7.5m exp. Doubled if I manage to play twice a day rather than forgetting about it
They also waited too long to release Divination, so I don't think I can manage 30m in my remaining skills and 30m Divination by the end of the year like I planned, so I'll just need to do 40m Divination by the end of next year
I agree the good vs. evil is boring and Jagex realizes this so they've taken steps to give more depth to the gods. It is mostly in recent times that shades of grey were given for Saradomin and Zamorak like with TWW, the Ariane quests, and now The Death of Chivalry.
One of the Jmods who worked on The Death of Chivalry said the intent of the quest was to show favorably for Saradomin to explain some of his actions (such as with the Naragi). As much as I would love Zamorak to get a boost from this quest, Saradomin needed to show what he was fighting against. Hopefully when Zamorak gets his spotlight they'll do his cause some justice.
