It doesn't have to be posting. I think it can happen even if you just interact with the page after being "inactive" for a while, and by inactive that means staying on the same page without moving. When you next interact with the site (click a thread, post etc) then it'll ask you to log back in.

If you aren't inactive, then idk :s
