As for the Sikr hats, they became the symbol of Sikr because he wore that hat everywhere (and occasionally died to a beehive and lost his Flame gloves and ring). Then Sam, Chillax and others founded a Wizard club where members all needed different hats to be a member.

Now it's become the Sikr hat club of Wizardry
