If you go to uni to ''pass'' then you can get the bare minimum or w/e if you're satisfied with that, grades are not everything and after year or two of work experience your grades will mean even less.

But for people who actually want to put forth all their effort in an attempt to reach whatever goal they may have in sight for themselves, they will clearly not settle for bare minimum.

Idk what type of person your friend is, I'm American and I find it dumb that people attend exams without certainty that all material required to be known is either retained through rot memorization or learnt. 70% is average in America, why someone would settle for the norm is beyond my comprehension.

There are companies that don't even look at you if you do not excel compared to the average man, if that's something you're not interested in then w/e many other companies will still hire you. Your first professional salary will set the bar for future position earnings, how serious you take that is up to you.

Tho as well if yer over here, and you have all these uber awesome grades n degrees etc - means fack all. Peeps only seem to want to hire those already with work experience, plenty of it, and good refs. Is why lots of peeps nowadays around here struggling to find work after graduating which stinks. :c

Friend of mine, she spent years training to be a teacher, did really well and passed - ain't no job for her at all in the field she actually trained/learned for and wanted to do, which basically means rip those 3+ years spent learning, doing all them exams, and the uni/college fees etc.

Need grades + work combination, that's implied in America I thought it would understood that I meant all that with balancing some form of work in conjunction to it >_>

Where are you from

Das UK. :3 Specifically Wales, specifically the north. We ain't got none of them things you call see-tees. Well. Ok, sorta. But da south gets most of the good stuff.

We get 2 nuke plants, possible rumours of a super prison, a bio research lab, and locally I recently discovered we have a god damn cryogenics lab. WHY DO WE HAVE A GOD DAMN CRYOGENICS LAB. I thought that stuff was only in sci-fi and overseas. :c

We also have lots and lots and lots and lots of fields. :3
